NutraResearch works closely with the university and strongly supports new talent

NutraResearch, in addition to being a benchmark in the main professional forums -very soon it will once again discuss the new trends in the nutraceutical market together with the main pharmaceutical laboratories this time in Farmaforum-, participates very actively in teaching and is committed to the training of future professionals.

This month of September the classes of the Master’s Degree in Industrial and Galenic Pharmacy began at the University of Barcelona, taught by NutraResearch’s CEO, Gemma Casadevall. During the class, each year students have the opportunity to visit the Barberà del Vallès production plant and learn first-hand about all the processes.

Likewise, they have the option of carrying out training iinternships at the NutraResearch facilities, which, upon completion, has lead in some cases to hire new talent. “Internship training is especially important. When students first walk in for their internship for much-needed training, they aren’t going to ask for any favors. This period is a time for knowledge between the company and the young professional”, explains the CEO, Gemma Casadevall. The scholarship model is used so that the company “can check if the person fits into their organization and the student can discover if they particularly like the job. We dedicate many hours of our lives to work, and without any doubt you have to like it, your eyes must shine”, adds Casadevall.

NutraResearch’s commitment has also materialized in supporting the development, from the talent located at the university, of new prevention and treatment systems, such as the research project that seeks to understand the effects of certain foods on health (obesity and resistance to insulin) and quality of life (healthy aging).
